...I want you to know how delighted I am with the results of the major work you and your crew did on our Route 1 embankment. Not only has it cleared out all the dead and unhealthy trees, but it has opened up the view to the church.
Just to let you know that the trimming has had very real consequences, last Sunday a young woman who is new in this country was out walking and looking for church where she could worship. She heard our church bell ring and headed towards the sound and then spotted St. John's from the other side of Baltimore Avenue. Amazingly, she stayed after worship for the Newcomers' Brunch!
