About Us

Adirondack was formed in June of 1996 by Felicia Anna with a 1978 Ford F-350 and two old chainsaws being the only company assets. During the past 17 years Adirondack has grown significantly to become one of the largest tree care and removal companies in the Washington Metropolitan area. With six active crews in the field to include crane and bucket services, Adirondack has been able to effectively service residential, commercial and municipal clients with superior service. In 2005, we became one of only three companies in the State of Maryland to earn the industry’s highest credential; accreditation by the Tree Care Industry Association. In 2006, we were awarded our first ever Checkbook Magazine “Check of Quality” for having one of the highest customer service ratings in the entire region. In 2007 as well as every year since then, we were awarded the “Angie’s List Super Service Award” for superior service to our clients. Of the several hundred tree care companies in the Washington area, we received one of the only two awards given. We currently employ nearly 40 wonderful people who take their profession very seriously. Of those 40, we have 14 Maryland Licensed Tree Experts, 10 EHAP Arborists and 6 who are I.S.A. Certified Arborists. Nearly every one of our employees is certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid and CPR.

In addition to our achievements in the realm of customer service and credentialed employees, we have also become extremely active in our community. We strongly support Law Enforcement, Education the Maryland Special Olympics and our community as a whole.
